I specialize in helping women solve their unique health problems using natural medicine. I bring over 20 years experience providing women with natural health care that works. I have helped women get relief from conditions ranging from a variety of menstrual disorders, menopausal problems, fatigue, insomnia low libido, and chronic yeast
infections. In addition, I specialize in male and female infertility.

Because Chinese medicine is a complete system of medicine, I also successfully treat a wide variety of ailments, ranging from:

  • Emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression
  • Chronic digestive complaints like irritable bowel
  • Respiratory problems such as asthma.
  • Dermatological problems such as acne and eczema .
  • Orthopedic problems including shoulder, knee and especially back pain.

All these conditions, as well as many others, respond very well to acupuncture.

Chinese medicine is the oldest professionally practiced academic system of medicine in the world. Its origins date back at least three millennia and it has an outstanding record of safety and effectiveness. Acupuncture is an ancient traditional Chinese medical technique utilizing the virtually painless insertion of thin, single-use stainless steel needles as thin as a human hair. It is based upon balancing the body’s flow of life energy, called Qi (pronounced CHEE) by inserting the super-thin needles in specific locations. These points of insertion are associated with the flow or blockage of energy to the organs and vital systems of the body. The treatment alters various physiological conditions, which can successfully treat a wide variety of illnesses.

The beauty of Chinese Medicine is that it works by restoring the body's own natural state of harmony and balance. Chinese Medicine emphasizes a holistic approach that treats the whole person. It views a person as an energy system in which body and mind are unified, each influencing and balancing the other. Instead of simply relieving symptoms, it actually works to cure the underlying cause. Acupuncture is able to restore and maintain health by improving the function of all the organs of the body. Regular acupuncture treatments restore balance to the body, thereby strengthening the immune system, reducing inflammation, calming the mind, and promoting a general sense of well being.

Most patients find acupuncture very relaxing, and many actually fall asleep during and after the treatment. The average appointment is between one and one-and-a-half hours, far longer than most traditional medical appointments. The duration of treatment varies from patient to patient, but once the precipitating condition has improved, many patients continue to see me, especially seasonally, to maintain their overall health.

Herbs are an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition to acupuncture, I use a variety of Chinese herbs in my practice. There are well over 3,000 herbs and hundreds of time-tested formulas used in Chinese Medicine. These complex herbal formulas are time-tested, highly effective, and lack the side-effects that often accompany many pharmaceuticals.

Now you too can get relief - safely, naturally, and effectively.
