Sonoma Valley Hospital Wants Your Thoughts!
If you’ve ever wanted to advise your hospital on the direction you’d like to see it take, now’s your chance. CEO Kelly Mather, the SVH Administration Staff and the SVHCD Board of Directors invite you to a special meeting of the Sonoma Valley Healthcare Board of Directors to learn about and offer your thoughts on our 3-Year Rolling Strategic Plan Draft. The meeting will be held on December 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Community Meeting Room on First Street West.
What is this about?
In early November the Sonoma Valley Hospital Administrative team, key directors, Board members and one or two members of the public gathered in a Strategic Planning Retreat to draft a strategic plan for the next three years. At the meeting, CEO Kelly Mather reviewed the plan, which she submitted to the SVHCD last fall, and was pleased to observe that the hospital had met all the goals for the year. SVH has achieved significant quality improvement; it has created a successful a regional strategy with Marin General Hospital, the Marin-Sonoma IPA, Prima Medical Group and other organizations; it has a successful physician alignment strategy; it has completed its 5-year Master Facility Upgrade and Campus plan; and has created two successful new service lines for strategic growth, Total Joint Replacement and Surgical Weight Loss (bariatrics).
The strategic themes on which the 2012-14 three-year rolling plan will be founded are our core pillars: Quality and Service Excellence, People and Innovation, Growth and Community, Financial Stability.
The 3-Year Rolling Strategic Plan DRAFT is now prepared and SVHCD invites all interested members of the public to a Community Strategic Planning Input meeting on December 7 from 5-7 pm, at the Community Meeting Room on First Street West.
Thank you and please come. We welcome your thoughts!
