Information Sessions – Sonoma Valley Hospital and the Whole Health Weight Loss Institute will offer information sessions for those interested in learning more about weight-loss (Bariatric) surgery, and how it can help resolve diseases associated with obesity. There is no cost for the sessions, which will be held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month, at Sonoma Valley Hospital in the Administrative Conference Room, from 5:30 pm till 7:00 pm, beginning Wednesday, January 11. These information sessions will be led by Dr. Scott Perryman, a board certified surgeon trained in Advanced Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Stanford University. He will explain the different types of procedures offered and share recent findings of evidence-based metabolic changes the procedure has produced.
